The Cube doesn't close flat so the different pictures are split and the paper that the pictures are printed on is already peeling off of the cube base. And this is on day one!!!. Pros: Cool Idea. . Cons: Cube does not close flat so when you change it to show different photos, they have a split going up the middle. Photo paper is separating off of the cube base. Ellen Edgerton 3/28/2014 10:58:37 AM Flower Of Life Indian Ornaments Mandala Universe Magic Photo Cubes Not bad for $15 Overall Rating : 4.00 Recommend For : Myself Print Quality : Product Quality : Review: www.cowcow.com seems to be the only place in the world where you can custom order these little photo cubes without having to place a bulk order. I was fairly pleased by the product, although the print quality was a little lower than I would have liked. Colors were a bit washed out and dark. I would advise submitting your photos adjusted to have brighter color and higher contrast. Also, avoid low-contrast images that have a lot of dark colors or black in them as they don't seem to print as well as others. Pros: The cube itself was surprisingly well made (at least, mine was). Someone took care to put this together well. It is light weight but not chintzy. The images were trimmed cleanly to fit the cube and there were no peeling edges or imperfections. The cube didn't really shut perfectly when it isn't being used (cracks will sag open a bit), but that might just be because it's new. Images became creased with folding, but I think this is to be expected with this sort of product. I received the product in the mail in a reasonable amount of time from overseas (about 2 weeks). Cons: The print quality was a little lower than I would have liked. However, it is not possible to use high quality photo paper with these items because the paper must be foldable for the hinges, so I would make an allowance for that fact. It seemed to me that the print quality had more to do with the paper than with the printing process. Detail and sharpness were OK. Colors were a little blah. Bottom Line: Despite somewhat lower print quality, it's definitely worth $15, even more so because you cannot buy custom-made folding photo cubes anywhere else unless you bulk-order them.
